I graduated from the Physiotherapy School of Trinity College Dublin in 1977. Having spent some years in the hospital system I commenced working in private practice in 1989.

I completed a postgraduate course in women's health in 2000 and received a licence to practice acupuncture in 2002. I attended a theory and practical course in acupuncture in Nanjing, China in the Summer of 2002. As a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists I am bound by their Code of Conduct and programme of Continual Professional Development.
